The Tri-Cities area of southcentral Washington has 9 public, private and municipal golf courses. The mostly mild climate lets golfers play year-round.

Golfers living in southcentral Washington have a wide choice of golf courses to choose from in the Tri-Cities of Richland, Kennewick and Pasco, as well as West Richland. And unless there’s snow on the ground, which happens occasionally in winter, golfers can pretty much play in all four seasons thanks to the area’s annual 300 days of sunshine.

Municipal Golf Courses

The area has two golf courses that are operated by city governments:

  • Sun Willows is operated by the City of Pasco. Located at 2535 N. 20th Ave., the course is just a short distance from the Tri-Cities Airport. The 18-hole course spreads over 6,715 yards with a par 72. The course is surrounded by the Sun Willows Golf Course Community.
  • Columbia Point is operated by the City of Richland at the main west entrance to the city. The mighty Columbia River can be seen from some places on the golf course, while a golf course community of condos, fine dining restaurants and hotels on the north side. The 18-hole course is located at 225 Columbia Point Drive. The course is on both sides of Columbia Point Drive.
  • Columbia Park Golf Course and Driving Range is Kennewick’s contribution to the golf scene. This course is a long narrow course lying between State Highway 240 and the Columbia River at 2701 Columbia Park Trail. It is an 18-hole course with a par of 55.

Public Golf Courses

Each city has golf courses that are open to the public.

  • Horn Rapids Golf Course is an 18-hole course located in rural south Richland in the upscale golf course community of Horn Rapids. It is located inside the housing development at 2800 Clubhouse Lane. It is an 18-hole course with a par of 72.
  • Buckskin Golf Course is a 9-hole course located at 1790 Bronco Lane in Richland. The 2,535-yard course has a par of 35.
  • Tri-Cities Country Club is an 18-hole course than runs over 4,855 yards with a par of 65. It borders Kennewick Avenue, one of Kennewick’s main streets, though the entrance is at 314 N. Underwood.
  • Canyon Lakes Golf Course runs through the upscale golf course community of Canyon Lakes in south Kennewick. The 18-hole course is spread over 7,026 yards and has a par of 72.
  • Pasco Golfland is a short 9-hole course running just over 1,000 yards with a par of 27. It is located at 2901 N. Road 40 in Pasco, and can be seen by westbound motorists on Interstate I-182.
  • West Richland Golf Course is in burgeoning West Richland which shares a border with Richland. The 18-hole course runs over 6,103 yards with a par of 70. It is located at 4000 Fallon Drive.

Private Golf Couse

Meadow Springs Country Club and Golf Course is the only private equity course in the Tri-Cities area. The 18-hole course in located inside the upscale golf course community of Meadow Springs at 700 Country Club Place, The address says Richland but it is best accessed from Kennewick. The course spreads over almost 7,000 yards and has a par of 72.
